Last September I had an epic adventure mountain biking and photographing the Heaphy Track with the entertaining company of Matt Proctor and Dave Everton. If there was ever a mountain bike (or hike for that matter) that should be on your bucket list, this is it.
Our little adventure is now available in print in the latest issue of NZBike. I was graphic designer for the magazine for the past few years and this was the last issue I worked on. It was a great experience and awesome to leave my own personal stamp on the publication.
You can pick up a copy of the magazine including the four page feature here www.endurancesport.co.nz/nzbike.cfm
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to mountain bike the Heaphy Track with the entertaining company of Matt Proctor and Dave Everton. If there was ever a mountain bike (or hike for that matter) that should be on your bucket list, this is it. Whatever your mtb passion be it downhill, cross country, or simply cruising through ancient rainforest, you wont be disappointed. The scenery is breathtaking including, limestone caves, pristine waterfalls, Nikau palm trees, pounding surf and more. I wont go in to too much detail as I am currently working on an article to be published later this year. Until then enjoy some of these images…
I recently returned from an epic 3 day mountain bike shoot in Queenstown where I joined four lucky winners (Mark, Matt, David and Cameron) of the Nutri Grain Boot Camp competition. The boys were flown to Queenstown, given Avanti bikes to ride (and keep!), put up in some pimp accommodation, shuttled to the best downhill MTB locations (by JT of Adventure Central) and given expert tips from Nathan Greenwood and ex world champion Scarlet Hagan!
A big thanks to everyone involved for making it such a sweet trip…

I recently joined FreerideNZ for the South Island leg of a Nationwide mountain bike tour. Beginning in Queenstown and finishing in Auckland the tour would showcase some of New Zealand’s world-class all mountain terrain and take in superb scenery along the way. The tour included heli biking, spear fishing, sheep herding, wild venison barbecues, ski field shuttle runs and more.
A big thanks to our amazing guides and Dan McMullan for inviting me on the trip, it was epic!
Also check out Americas biggest mountain bike website Pink Bike for more photos on the tour. Cheers!
