Last September I had an epic adventure mountain biking and photographing the Heaphy Track with the entertaining company of Matt Proctor and Dave Everton. If there was ever a mountain bike (or hike for that matter) that should be on your bucket list, this is it.
Our little adventure is now available in print in the latest issue of NZBike. I was graphic designer for the magazine for the past few years and this was the last issue I worked on. It was a great experience and awesome to leave my own personal stamp on the publication.
You can pick up a copy of the magazine including the four page feature here www.endurancesport.co.nz/nzbike.cfm
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to mountain bike the Heaphy Track with the entertaining company of Matt Proctor and Dave Everton. If there was ever a mountain bike (or hike for that matter) that should be on your bucket list, this is it. Whatever your mtb passion be it downhill, cross country, or simply cruising through ancient rainforest, you wont be disappointed. The scenery is breathtaking including, limestone caves, pristine waterfalls, Nikau palm trees, pounding surf and more. I wont go in to too much detail as I am currently working on an article to be published later this year. Until then enjoy some of these images…
A few days ago I captured some images of Aaron to update his personal training website Peak 40. These images were taken in a quick 1.5hr shoot overlooking Lake Wanaka and the commanding Southern Alps. Aaron did a great job smiling and appearing warm despite the odd snow flurry passing through! If you are looking to take your fitness and lifestyle to the next level contact Aaron today. To book your sports/fitness photography shoot contact Pure Pixel today.
Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to photograph what is undoubtedly New Zealand’s ultimate Multisport event, the Coast to Coast. Wanaka athletes Braden Currie and Jess Simson both cleaned up in the One Day competition over previous winners Elina and Richard Ussher. This was Jess’ first time competing in the one day event and Braden’s second consecutive victory.
A big thanks to the event organisers, Michael Jacques, NZ tri and Multisport and the rest of the Media crew for making it such an enjoyable experience.
