It’s Always a privilege to photograph a wedding, but even more so when it’s for good friends. I know Nathan and Olivia both worked their butts off to make an unforgettable wedding. Their hard work was rewarded with a stunning Autumn day in Matakana. The ceremony and family photos were held amongst the picturesque Plume gardens. This was followed by a picnic and bridal party photos at a local vineyard. Back at Plume Restaurant we were entertained with some classic speeches and dinner. The band kicked of the dancing which as I hear carried into the small hours. Thanks for allowing me to share your day Nathan & Olivia and I am stoked you are happy with the photos.
For a photographer the Cook Islands is about a picturesque a location as you could get. So when Mark and Emma approached me to photograph their Rarotonga wedding I jumped at the opportunity.
There are few locations as relaxing as Rarotonga for a wedding and Mark and Emma’s was no exception. The Edgewater resort was the location for the ceremony and it was a balmy 27c, so it was just as well the boys were wearing shorts! We captured some fun photos on sunset before heading to the reception venue, surrounded by palm trees overlooking the beach. After a delicious surf n turf buffet, the wedding party danced the night away under a star filled sky.
Robyn and Kevin had the picture perfect summers day for their Wanaka wedding. Joined by close family and friends they celebrated their wedding in the gardens of the historic Cardrona Hotel. Friend Beverley conducted a heartfelt ceremony among the picturesque setting. Following the ceremony I captured some images with Kevin and Robyn’s family around the historic buildings. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer for such a special occasion.
A couple of weeks ago I traveled to my hometown of Wanaka to photograph Lauren and Corey’s lakeside wedding. The ceremony was held on the lawns of Edgewater Resort overlooking photogenic Lake Wanaka. Lauren and the bridesmaids looked stunning and Corey wasn’t too shabby either (considering he had ‘kissed’ the concrete two days prior!). Following the ceremony it was off to Wanaka station park for bubbles n beers and bridal party photos before returning to Edgewater where celebrations continued. Thanks to Dom Channon for assisting me and a huge thanks to Lauren and Corey for choosing me as your photographer.
For some people rain may put a dampener on their wedding day. Not so for Hannah and Logan, rain, hail or shine, they were happy just to be getting married. It was a privilege to be part of their day and there were no shortage of laughs, most provided by Logan’s brother Joel (hope the elbow is ok Joel!). Despite the weather we still managed to get up with Charlie in the chopper, an added bonus to what was already an awesome day. A big thanks to Hannah and Logan and everyone who helped out.
